People of mediterrian sure love their dips, from Greek tztaziki to hommus and of course baba ganoush. I s we know that Pakistan is a country of rich culture they all love healthy and desi type food. Yes they do love fast food but Pakistan’s favourite foods are desi which are rich in nutritions, protein, carbs.

So that’s why we are going to introduce to a healthy rich Arabian type causine that is Baba Ganoush which is made of rich protiens and nutritions.

What is the better way to kick start your dinner than a creamy, dreamy dip and some homemade pita to go along.

Pakistan has hummus almost in evey restaurant, it is almost the same to hummus. The method and ingredients you will see here, and neither of us could stop scooping up more. When you get it right, Baba ganoush is irresistibly smooth and luxurious, smoky, and savory.

In its most most basic form, baba ganoush is made with eggplant =, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice garlic and salt. I found that adding a tiny bit of ground cumin, smoked paprika and fresh parsley takes it to the next level.

Baba ganoush is similar to hummus, but it is called for grilled or roasted eggplant instead of chickpeas.both of it originated from eastern miditerranean, and these both are offen served in restaurant with pita bread and raw, crisp veggies.


 


HOW TO MAKE BABA GANOUSH AND WHAT IS ITS INGREDIENTS.

v  Eggplant:

Use one large globe eggplant. Which is almost available every where in the market.

There are many ways to prepare it for baba Ganoush you can bake it or you can cook it over flame and more.

 

 

v  Tahini paste:

Tahini paste is made of toasted sesame seeds. Use 1 to 2 table spoon of some tahini made of fully roasted. It is also offering a creamy texture and a nutty flavor.

 

 

v  Garlic:

1 to 2 fresh garlic cloves. Or what is your choice.

 

v  Lemon juice

Us e1 tablespoon of lemon juice because citrus give a nice taste to this eggplant.

 

v  Yogurt;

It is optional depending you that you want to use it or not but it will be better to use 1 tablespoon.

 

v  Seasoning;

 

Salt and pepper ofcourse make the taste better if you like do some add to these.

 

v  GARNISH:

 

Add some fresh parsley and a few toasted pine nuts on top. But to make it taste better add some generous drizzle of quality extra virgin olive oil.

 

 

And in the last your yummy gummy BABA GANOUSH will be ready to serve it to your guests or in a restaurant.
